Useful, Interesting and Fun Links

Boost your link popularity (and possibly your Google PageRank score) by exchanging a Solo Page with us. We will create a web page on our site just for you! Your text and your graphics. Your link will be the only external link on the page.

Your page will be linked to our main links/resources page through a Featured Sites page that will list links to each of the solo pages. (Home > Links/Resources > Featured Sites > Your Page). Your page will also be hosted in our main folder, not hidden down in some subfolder. It will be most "spiderable".

In exchange we ask that you create a page with a link to our web site using one of our many articles on Personal Finance and Organization topics. Not only will we post your solo page on our web site but we also provide you with unique and interesting content for your web site. Post as many of our articles as you wish (one per page please).

Our rules for the exchange are:

Supply your text and images to us in HTML format ( section only). We will not host images on our web site so links should be to image files on your site.
NO pornography, hate messages, gambling/casinos.
We reserve the right to correct spelling errors, inaccuracies and HTML code tags/structure.
We also reserve the right to remove your page if any images are deemed offensive or inappropriate.
Slanderous or libelous text will not be accepted.
NO affiliate only sites. Your site must have some unique content and provide some benefit to the visitor. The link to your site cannot be to a redirect page.
We will only post one solo page per URL (domain name). We will not post multiple pages for the same domain. (Your HTML code may link to multiple pages on your site, but we recommend just linking to one page or just your home page.)
The HTML code should not be unreasonable in size. The "normal" amount for a regular readable web page.

To exchange solo pages with us, post one of our articles on your web site and then send an emil to and include:

Please allow two to three weeks for your page to be created, reviewed and posted. We will send you an email notification when your page is complete and posted.

The IMAGE item is also optional. Include this item if you would like us to display a 120 x 60 (width x height) ad button next to your listing. The image file should not exceed 7k. Animations are ok.

Once we receive your email and verify our link on your site, we will post your link on our site. Please allow up to two weeks for posting your link on our web site. We will send you an email confirming the addition of your link once it is posted.

Your link will be added to our network of over 10 web sites with a combined total of over 12,000 visitors each month. All of our sites are submitted to the major search engines regularly. Each site has a link to the links pages on the site's home page and link pages are stored in the site's root folder. This ensures that each page can be found by the search engine spiders.

Linking Tips

Exchange links with sites that complement your site.
Review a potential web site to:
- Look for a link/resources page.
- Look for suggested link code, titles and phrases.
- Look for link categories relevant to your site.
- Note a unique or well executed feature of the site.
When contacting a webmaster:
- Contact the webmaster through email.
- Introduce yourself and get quickly to the point.
- Sincerely complement the webmaster on something specific about his/her site.
- Have a link to the webmaster's site already on your site.
- Use HTML link code from the web master's web site if provided.
- Include a link to your links page so the webmaster can quickly verify the link on your site.
- Include the HTML link code in your email so the webmaster can quickly post a link to your site.
- Format your HTML link code to match style of the webmaster's other links.
- Suggest a category for your link if the webmaster's links are divided by category.
Keep fewer than 20 links on a link page, use multiple pages or categories if necessary. Pages with more than 20 external links may be viewed as link farms or FFA (free-for-all) link pages which are banned by the search engines. (The amount of 20 is our best guess.)
Monthly check your links to make sure they are still active, remove inactive links. We suggest:

Put a link to your links/resources page on your home page to be sure it is available to visitors and the search engine spiders. This ensures that the search engines will index your links pages (which is a primary benefit to those who exchange links with you).
Keep your links pages in your root web site folder to make it easier for the earch engines to find them. Some search engines will not index pages in subfolders.
Put some content on each of your links pages to make them more appealing to the search engines. Write a paragraph or two about the link category or each group of links or add an article about the category topic. Some sources for free articles (you must include the author's byline and information):
